PAYING RENEWAL FEES for HCPC registration
The renewal fee is £196.24 for two years (£98.12 per year). If you are a new UK graduate from an HCPC approved course, the fee you will pay for the first two 'professional years' is reduced by 50 percent to e £98.12 (£49.06 per year).
The amount you are personally required to pay for your HCPC registration is indicated when we invite you to renew your registration.
HOW TO PAY for the HCPC registration and membership fee
Renewal fees can be paid in one upfront payment or by multiple payments via direct debit. You can choose what payment option you prefer via your online account.
If your payments have not been received by this date, your name may be removed from the HCPC Register. We will contact you if you have any outstanding payments, so please make sure that your contact information is up to date on our records. In a situation where there are outstanding or failed payments, please also note that we may request for the amount owed to be paid by bank transfer.

REQUIREMENTS TO REGISTER WITH HCPC:
ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
All applicants enrolling through the overseas route must confirm their English language proficiency, according to the HCPC. Working as a health professional in the United Kingdom necessitates the ability to communicate effectively in English. You will be requested to present a certificate from an English language competency exam that reveals your score as part of your application to demonstrate this.
The following certificates of English language proficiency are accepted by HCPC, as long as they are not older than two years when your application is submitted.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet-Based Test (IBT)
HCPC REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT will not accept any TOEFL test score undertaken in the UK.

What documents do I need to attach to my HCPC registration forms?
BACHELOR'S DEGREE WITH HONOURS FOR:
Biomedical scientists (with the Certificate of Competency awarded by the Institute of Biomedical Science or equivalent), Chiropodists / Podiatrists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics
Physiotherapists, Radiographers; and Speech and Language Therapists
DIPLOMA OF HIGHER EDUCATION TO ENTER THE HCPC REGISTER

MASTER'S DEGREE FOR:
If any shortfalls are discovered BY THE HCPC Registration Assessors, they will investigate to see if they can be filled with additional appropriate education, training, or experience. The Education and Training Committee (ETC) will then forward a proposal and further update.
Please note that the HCPC Registration Department can only make a decision based on the data supplied in the application.
Additional or Further Information requested by the HCPC Registration Department
You may receive a request for the HCPC Registration Assessors to forward additional information in your Record of Assessment, which you must give to HCPC registration department in order for your application to proceed.
If your HCPC application is approved, you must pay a final fee. This is the hcpc registration fee for your profession's registration cycle.
If HCPC Registration Assessors require additional information, they will contact you through email, as well as when your application reaches each level.

HCPC REGISTRATION WITHOUT IELTS
Many candidates ring and ask how to register with the HCPC without IELTS.
All overseas allied healthcare professionals must meet the minimum language requirements to be able to obtain the HCPC registration and become eligible to practice in the UK.
The minimum result requirements for each test are:
- IELTS (minimum overall score of 7.0 with no element below 6.5)
- TOEFL IBT (minimum score of 100/120)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR HCPC REGISTRATION
The HCPC registration form application must be completed with black pen and with BLOCK CAPITALS. Together with the application form, you must provide HCPC with the following additional documents: •Two certified copies of your ID (passport, driving license or ID card)
•Certified evidence of any change of name (if applicable) •Certified copy of your qualification/s
•Certified copy of IELTS test if English is not your first language or an English language declaration if English is your first language(this is not applicable for Paramedics currently)
•Certified copy of the professional body in your country (similar to HCPC in UK)
•Proof of address (bank statement or utility bill) in its original form or a certified copy
